Team Camp Description
Titan team camps allow players to experience a realistic Division 1 practice atmosphere.
If a coach would like to bring his pitchers and catchers, they would have the opportunity to throw in the bullpens at Goodwin Field. This would allow for pitchers to see their trackman data while throwing their bullpens. Trackman offers a range of analytical feedback including velocity, spin rate, amount of movement (inches), spin efficiency and release point.
We aim to provide each team a format that allows their players to showcase their abilities, so we are flexible on the exact practice plan. Typically we would have infielders and outfielders work on fly balls and ground balls while catchers work off of the machine or catch bullpens. Any pitcher only players would work PFPs & holding runners as if it were a college practice.
Equipment
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring baseball pants, a glove, a bat, a helmet, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, a hat and catcher’s should make sure to bring their catcher’s gear and wear a protective cup. Players will be responsible for providing their own extra equipment they feel is necessary to have at a baseball practice as well. This includes batting gloves, evoshields, and any other protective or extra equipment. It is highly encouraged for players to bring their own water bottles as well.
Camp Check-In
Camp Check In- Please arrive with signed waiver 15 minutes prior to the start of the camp. Exact time will be coordinated with the coach of each team. Parking is free on weekends at CSUF. It is easiest to park in Lot G on campus.
