Capital Strike Zone Baseball Camps/Clinics

Strike Zone is designed to serve your family by providing instruction for your student at a professional level. We offer professional hitting and pitching instructions in baseball and softball, strength training,skills camps and travel ball teams. We have a place where students can get the training they need toreach their maximum potential and fulfill their goals.

Capital Strike Zone is proud to announce that Barb Sherwood, a veteran pitching coach of more than 20 years at the Division 1 level of college softball, will be joining our coaching staff to give pitching

instruction for any and all fastpitch softball players who want to improve themselves and reach new levels of success as pitchers.

Coach Sherwood has served as a pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at Troy, Wisconsin, Florida State, Virginia Tech, and most recently at College of Charleston, with stints as a head coach at Akron and Portland State University.

Widely regarded as one of the best pitching coaches nationally, Coach Sherwood will join Capital Strike Zone on September 8, 2020. Call our office at 334-782-0344 for more information and to reserve a lesson slot with Barb Sherwood!
