Camp at the Beach!
Welcome to Blue Hen Youth Camps! This camp focuses a tremendous amount of time on developing good baseball mechanics. All players will develop an understanding of the type of player he needs to be as he prepares to compete at the higher levels of baseball.
Small instructor-to-camper ratios allow for individual attention to each camper and direct instruction is focused on the campers' needs.
All Campers receive a camp T-Shirt!

What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 7 days prior to the start of a camp. If you cancel within 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.

Bob Hannah Stadium
Formerly called Delaware Diamond, Bob Hannah Stadium is the home of the Blue Hen Baseball team. The stadium was renamed in May, 2000 in honor of longtime baseball coach Bob Hannah, who announced his retirement after a legendary 36-year career following the 2000 season. The natural grass stadium, one of the finest collegiate baseball facilities in the East, seats 1,300 for baseball. Features of the stadium include an enclosed press box, an outdoor batting cage, and banners on the outfield fence signifying Delaware's numerous conference titles and NCAA appearances. The field dimensions are 330 down the left and rightfield lines and 400 to center field.

ABOUT US
Blue Hen Baseball Camps – University Of Delaware

The youth camps are specifically designed to teach younger players ages 6-12 the fundamental skills of the game of baseball. Other camps include skill-specific instructional hitting and pitching camps for players ages 13-18 years old. In our instructional showcase camps, high school players are given the opportunity to receive instruction from college coaches while, at the same time, showcase the baseball talents in competitive games and pro-style workouts. Camp is open to any and all entrants.

INFO: Open to all HS teams, travel teams, Legion teams. Players participate in games at Bob Hannah Stadium and receive instruction from UD and other area college coaches
The Blue Hen Baseball Camps are conducted by the University of Delaware coaching staff members as well as other area college and high school baseball coaches. Our staff members are hired to provide a high quality of adult supervision necessary to ensure the safety and security of all campers in attendance at our camps. We emphasize that we operate our camps using no greater than a 10:1 instructor-to-camper ratio, allowing us to provide each camper with quality baseball instruction as well a safe environment in which to develop their baseball skills.
