Description
Join us for CBI’s 2025 Summer Baseball Camp I! Spend the summer with Coach Kuebler and the CBI team, sharpening your baseball fundamentals in a fun, structured setting. To ensure quality instruction, we maintain a maximum camper-to-staff ratio of 7:1, so spots are limited. Players will be grouped by age and skill level throughout the camp. In case of a rainout, the makeup date is set for July 25th.
Cost
$320 (Full Day) from 9:00am-3:00pm
$225 (Half Day) from 9:00am-12:30pm
Camp Format
- Skill-based drills with tailored instruction
- Tee work and swing mechanics analysis
- Live batting practice
- Defensive drills for infield fundamentals
- Pitching and throwing technique development
- Catching fundamentals and mechanics
- Base running strategies and techniques
- Engaging small-sided games and competitive challenges
- Modified and full-game play to wrap up each day
- Shaded lunch break area next to the baseball field
Instructors
CBI’s coaching staff includes experienced CBI Coaches and collegiate baseball players who have played under Coach Kuebler or Coach Heisel.
- CBI coaches consist of current high school baseball coaches, professional educators, and professional baseball players: ALL certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
- A certified athletic trainer will be on-site at all times.
- ALL coaches are required to pass the SSCI National Background Screening.
Equipment
Players should bring:
- Glove, bat, helmet, and cap
- Baseball attire, including cleats and either sneakers or turf shoes (in case indoor facilities are needed due to weather)
- Catcher’s gear (if participating in catching instruction)
- Lunch and a sports drink or water
- Baseball pants are recommended, but athletic shorts are acceptable in extremely hot weather

Camp Check-in and Pick-up
Players should check-in between 8:30am and 9:00am at the baseball field on the first day of camp. A reminder email will be sent a few days before camp begins. Campers will be released to a parent or caregiver at the field. If you prefer pickup at the gymnasium, please request this during registration or before camp starts.
- Do you have early drop off and late pick up options available? No, unfortunately, due to changes resulting from COVID we are not offering those options for this event.
- What if there is an unexpected passing thunder storm during the camp? We will use a designated area in Walsingham Academy’s Upper School as a place of refuge until it passes.

Please pack a lunch, as snacks and sports drinks will NOT be available for purchase, and lunch specials will not be provided. Water stations will be available in each dugout, but players are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day.
Merchandise
Camp merchandise and gift certificates will be given away as rewards for positive attitude, improvement, hustle and good sporting behavior.
What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do NOT offer refunds for canceled campers; however, we provide a future camp credit if you choose to cancel.
For added peace of mind, we offer "Cancellation Protection", which allows flexibility in case plans change. This option helps us maintain affordable pricing while delivering the best experience possible.
Cancellation Protection is available at the time of registration and provides:
- A full refund of camp fees if cancellation occurs more than 7 days before camp.
- A camp credit for the full amount paid if cancellation occurs within 7 days of the camp start date.
Camp credits are valid for three years at any of our locations and can be transferred to family members or friends for a future camp.

Colonial Baseball Instruction Camps

The Colonial Baseball Instruction Camps in Williamsburg are dedicated to providing baseball camps that are both instructional and informational along with creating a great atmosphere to learn! We actively teach and encourage Sportsmanship, Hustle and Good Behavior. At many of our camps, players are awarded with equipment giveaways/awards for exhibiting positive behavior.
The coaching staff at Colonial Baseball Instruction takes pride in teaching the sport of baseball to players of all ages and ability levels. All staff have had to pass the SSCI National Background Screening and are determined to provide the best possible learning experience for our campers.
