Sunbird Baseball Camps

Description

Come develop your offensive skills and elevate your hitting ability at the Sunbird Baseball Camps Monday Night Hitting Camp!  Camp participants will take part in Sunbird hitting drills as well as receive instruction from Sunbird Hitting Coaches.  Campers will train in our premier baseball facility that features state-of-the-art equipment.

Cost

• The $200 registration fee includes ALL 4 Monday hitting sessions.

What to Bring

• Bats
• Water
• Batting Gloves
• Turf or tennis shoes
• Glove

Camp Check-in

• Check-in for camp will begin 10 minutes before the start of camp.

Description

Our Prospect Camp is the perfect opportunity to be evaluated by the FPU coaching staff as well as improve skill.  This is a unique opportunity to learn more about our exciting building project at FPU diamond as well as getting a campus tour.  In addition to the opportunity to display your baseball ability, the coaching staff will provide an educational opportunity in terms of financial aid, admissions,  the collegiate experience and recruiting process.

Sunbird Baseball Camps Prospect Camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender) and designed to specifically for high school and junior college players who desire exposure and instruction from Fresno Pacific coaches.

Equipment

Each camper must bring their own baseball equipment and water.  Players should bring a glove, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, helmet, bat, batting gloves and any other equipment that they feel necessary to compete.  Please mark camper’s names on all items.  The camp is not responsible for lost belongings.

Saturday, November 16th 
8:30 AM:  Registration Begins
9:00 AM:  Welcome and Staff Introductions
9:15 AM: Campus Tour with players and parents/Recruiting - NCAA - Financial Aid - Admissions Q&A with players and parents
10:45 AM: Pro style workout/evaluations begin
            - Warmup
            - 60's
            - OF's Throw
            - INF's field and throw
            - C's pop times
            - BP
1:00 PM:  game/game simulation            
4:00 PM: End of Camp

Facilities

FPU Field will host the fundamentals camp. We will also use over covered hitting facility which is comprised of two beautiful turf cages with mounds. Classrooms on campus will also be available if needed.

Meals

Lunch will not be included in the price of camp.  There are many local options and would encourage campers to bring not only lunch but all the drinks that they would need with them throughout the day.

Medical Care

A member of the FPU athletic training staff will be present during each session. All medical information on the application must be completed.

Check-in

Please check in 30 mins prior to the start time of your session.

Waiver Information

Waiver form will be available for download during the registration process.
