Official Matt Deggs Cajun Baseball Camps

Description
This camp offers an opportunity for players to participate in an evaluation setting in front of the Matt Deggs Cajun baseball coaching staff. This camp is an essential part of the recruiting process for our staff as it enables us to add players to our current follow list as well as identify a later developing, uncommitted prospect.

All position players will take part in a 60 yd. sprint for time, a defensive session where skills will be evaluated along with arm strength, and batting practice.

Pitchers will throw a bull pen and will be on a strict pitch count. Position players must pick one primary position only. A Dual player is acceptable, you will be allowed to do both skills, however, it is important to do your best at the position you are the most effective. Register for dual player if you intend to do both.

Check-in
Check-In will take place 30 minutes prior to the start of camp.

What to Bring
All campers will need to bring their own glove, bat, helmet, batting gloves, baseball hat, turf/tennis shoes, baseball cleats, and catchers equipment (if needed for camp). Please make sure the camper’s name is clearly printed on all pieces of equipment that he brings to camp.

Lunch will not be provided.

We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, but a future camp credit can be issued if you decide to cancel prior to the start of camp.

Information will also be given on having a positive mental attitude, goal setting, and other skills designed to make a difference in fulfilling potential both on and off the field.

Check-in
Check-In will take at 8:00am on the first day of camp.

Drop off and pick up will be located on the first base side of the stadium.  No youth camper will be allowed to walk without the supervision of an adult in any parking or driving area.  We ask that parents drive through the pick up or drop off line instead of waiting for the camper in their vehicle.  Campers may be dropped off one hour prior to the start of camp and picked up no later than 30 minutes at the end of each daily session.
