Description
Alex Sogard Baseball Camps offer an opportunity for players to receive valuable instruction on the fundamental skills of baseball. Campers will be made aware of the characteristics that define successful baseball players. Organized games between campers will provide a competitive outlet after specific drills have been practiced. Contests built into drills capture the learners attention, which results in attentive practice. Drill progressions will be aimed towards recognizing and developing good habits in all aspects of the game. General courtesy, respect for teammates and opponents and the importance of hard work will be taught to the campers through example by the Wright State coaching staff.
Our coaching staff works to interconnect your child's passions with their desire to improve specific areas of their game or aspirations to master the intricacies of a new position on the field. Our coaches strive to take a ballplayer's unique game to the next level by utilizing their baseball expertise to give your child the necessary tools to succeed outside of camp in his or her respective little league or travel ball organizations.
