Breakdown of Training
- 1x per week (Tuesdays from 5:00pm-6:30pm)
- Dynamic Warm up + Corrective exercises
- Arm Care and Arm Strengthening Routine
- Individual Break off (Pitchers/ Hitters)
- Strength and Speed Training in UNLV Baseball Weight room
Arm Strength and Health
- Build arm strength and learn the routines we use at UNLV for our players
For Hitters: Hitting Mechanics Breakdown and Drills
- Get a full mechanical breakdown to identify areas of improvement
- Drills will be taught by UNLV Hitting Coach
- Focus on bat speed, good barrel contact and mental approach
For Pitchers: Mechanical Breakdown and Plyo Drills
- Get a full mechanical breakdown to identify areas of improvement
- Plyo care balls and other drills to help improve mechanics and overall movement
- Drills are used to help pitchers improve command, velocity, and movements that allow for a healthy career
- Long Toss and catch play routines
Trackman Analysis
- Once per week the Trackman will be used for bullpens
- Pitch design sessions
- Improve pitch metrics
- Bullpens to increase focus on pitch execution and stimulate in game situations
Strength and Speed Training
- Weight training appropriate for age group in order to gain strength
- Exercises specialized for baseball players
- Speed and agility training for hitters to improve explosiveness and athleticism
Items To Bring
- Baseball or other athletic clothing- Tennis shoes and cleats
- Baseball bat and batting gloves
- Baseball glove – Helmet if you have one
- Baseball Cap – Catcher gear (catchers only)
- Sunscreen

- Base running, stealing bases, good reads, and taking leads.
- Taught by 2 current UNLV coaches and assisted by current UNLV players.

- Full Trackman/ pitch analysis will be provided after the camp to each participant.
