Ryan Shotzberger Baseball Camp at UIW

Description

Players will be provided the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the UIW Baseball Coaching Staff.  All position players will receive offensive and defensive instruction along with an opportunity to showcase their skills through a pro-style workout.  Pitchers will receive instruction on all aspects of pitching along with throwing a bullpen. 

Additionally, there will be a discussion on NCAA recruiting, a tour through the UIW Baseball facilities will be provided, along with a simulated game if time permits.

Schedule

Camp will begin at 9:30am. We will begin with a Coach led dynamic stretch. Next, we will go into our Pro Style Workout beginning with 60 yard dash run times, OF Throwing Velocity testing, IF velocity testing, 1St Base Infield velocity testing, and Catcher pop times.

Equipment

All campers need to bring their own bats, gloves, baseball hat, batting gloves, helmet, cleats, catchers equipment (if needed for camp), and any other equipment players need to bring to compete.

• Please mark all your equipment with your name. Ryan Shotzberger baseball camps are not liable for theft or loss of campers personal property.
• We also ask that your camper bring their own water bottle so they can remain hydrated throughout the camp.

The baseball field is located near the football and softball field on campus.

Check-in will begin 30 minutes prior to the start of camp.

Cancellation Policy

We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called “Cancellation Protection”.  We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible.  Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
