ABOUT US
Torero Baseball Camps
Testimonial ~ “Our son had a fantastic experience at the USD baseball camp this week. He gave us a list of his favorite highlights of camp: playing games (his team was the Diamonducks), hitting drills, throwing drills, and eating lunch in the club house. I think best of all was that he had fun in a no-stress learning environment. Thank you for hosting this special camp for these young players”.
Testimonial ~ “Thank you so much for an incredible camp. That was by far the best baseball camp I have ever been to from an aspect of getting better, while learning so much at the same time. My favorite drills were the “come and get it” drill, the paddle (A-Rod) drill, and the backhand work that we did. This boot camp gets a definite ten out of ten. If you want to learn a great deal about playing infield while getting a ton of repetition with one of the best infield coaches there is, then sign up for this camp. Also, as a result of my experience at this camp I have decided to attend the USD Prospect Camp later on this month. I look forward to learning more defensive skills from you as well as have an opportunity to show you the rest of my baseball playing abilities. With that in mind, I am attaching the link to my recruiting profile for you to review. I would look forward to any feedback you might have to offer after you have watched it. I look forward to seeing you after Christmas. Happy Holidays!”

Former Torero Baseball Camps Player and Parent Testimonials
I really appreciate the invite I had a great time. The facility is beautiful. Hopefully I can come play with you and the squad next year. Hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you! This is such a well ran amazing camp!

Thank you for running such a great camp! The boys had a blast and are looking forward to next year already! Enjoy the rest of your summer.

The two day camp experience was very beneficial in my opinion and I had a great time. I learned an incredible amount about the mental side of the game through the five amazing guest speakers you presented us. My mindset has completely changed for the better and I want to thank you for that. As for the baseball aspect of the camp, playing on that masterpiece of a field is always such a great experience. I wish I could take BP on that nice of a yard every day. I had never done some of the drills in the outfield that we did, and I look forward to taking them back to school this season. I overall I want to thank you for putting together a fantastic few days, and I look forward to attending the more camps in the future and staying in contact with you. Go Toreros!

The staff provided an amazing camp featuring excellent field drills, strength and conditioning and exceptional motivational speakers. Each aspect of the camp was professional and inspiring to the players attending My son already asked if can he go again next year! Thanks again.

I just wanted to say thank you for a great camp. I learned a lot from all the coaches, and will continue to test the outfielder and try to go from 1st to 3rd, always. The individual catching drills were also very beneficial. I look forward to talking to you soon.

We were both very impressed by you, your coaches and the overall camp experience this weekend.
Thank you for taking the time to do something so nice for these kids. I hope you will have more camps in the future.
I love the attached photo – and hope that as the years pass you won’t have to bend down so far when I take a photo of you and my son!
All my best – we will look forward to watching USD play again this year.

My son had a great time at camp yesterday! Thank you so much for making it a positive experience for him.

My son participated yesterday and I stayed the whole time to watch. I was so incredibly impressed at the organization, level of instruction, camaraderie and level of professionalism that I witnessed throughout the day. I am a three-degree alum of USD but didn’t have any experience with the athletic department. Kudos for a fantastic camp! It was my son’s first and the bar is now set very high!

We just wanted to tell you how much he enjoyed the camp. This is his second year and we will be back next year. Love to get out of Vegas for the weekend.
I’m not sure about the new contact rules but we love your program and its #1 on his list. We will do our part to bring him back next year bigger and faster.
Take care and thanks again

We wanted to say thank you very much for holding such a terrific Middle School Prospect camp this past weekend. We unfortunately just confirmed that my son was playing with a double ear infection all weekend, but he still had an amazing time getting to know and work with the rest of the staff, not to mention playing at such a beautiful facility.
We both look forward to the possibility of our son participating in USD Prospect camps in the near future.
If you could please extend our appreciation to the entire coaching staff, it would be appreciated.

Hi Coach Rich, I went to the USD thanksgiving prospect camp and I was wondering if I can go to a Toreros game and see u again. I really enjoyed your camp it was super good catcher training and it was cool to be able to go in the lounge he field and the dugout. So if I can go to one of your games this season and say hi to you again I would enjoy that a lot. Please email me back I would love to get in touch with the USD Baseball program.

Great job, you guys are a 1st class club…

Thank you for the opportunity to show you my ability. You gave me a lot of desires through the camp to play in your team. I’m glad that I could show you my baseball skills.
I appreciate the time you shared with me. I’m very interested in playing in your team and look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you and have a great day.

Thanks for a great camp and the encouragement to keep working hard for my goal and dreams. I would love to play for you at USD. But if not still chasing my opportunity to play at next level. your youth camps were the groundwork for my work ethic thank you.
Take care and thanks again!

Thank you for such a great camp yesterday! You and the other coaches provided an incredible baseball environment with high energy, great instruction and even some classic rock music for the spectators, all in beautiful Fowler Park…baseball paradise!
Thanks again!

My son really enjoyed himself. We both really liked your format. It gave the kids lots of opportunities to showcase their abilities in game-like situations. Your energy and enthusiasm kept it fun and competitive. I know this is my son’s journey and I don’t want to step on his toes, but I know he is looking forward to following up with you. As a parent, who has been to a lot of camps, I can honestly say yours was thoroughly enjoyable and well run.
Thank you

Thank you for such a great event. Our son really enjoyed the camp. Learned alot of great drills. What a beautiful campus and field. It was very organized and what great weather we had. Thank you again coach and hopefully our son will have an opportunity to be a team player at USD.

Our son had a fantastic experience at the USD baseball camp this week. He gave us a list of his favorite highlights of camp: playing games (his team was the Diamonducks), hitting drills, throwing drills, and eating lunch in the club house. I think best of all was that he had fun in a no-stress learning environment. Thank you for hosting this special camp for these young players.

I was a camper at your future stars baseball overnight camp, the week of June 23rd through the 27th. I remember what you said about being a good teammate and that only about 50% of the campers that week would remember to tape up the nickel you gave to all of us. So I wanted to email you this picture of the nickel you gave me, because I wanted to show you that I was one of the 50% percent of kids that taped up the nickel. I can’t wait to go next year and hope to see you again during camp!
